The panel will be moderated by Amir Reza, Ph.D., Dean of Babson College's Academy for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurial Learning, Dean of Global Education, and current president of AIEA. He'll be joined by leaders from higher education, experiential education, and industry.

Meet the Speakers
Amir Reza, Ph.D.
MODERATOR: Dean, Babson Academy for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurial Learning & Dean, Global Education
Amir Reza is the dean of the Babson Academy for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurial Learning (Babson Academy), a dedicated unit within Babson College that inspires change in the way universities, specifically their faculty and students, teach and learn entrepreneurship. In this role, he is responsible for leading and collaborative advancement of Babson Academy’s strategy. He is also dean of Global Education, responsible for advancing overall internationalization efforts for Babson College through curricular and cocurricular programs.
Reza formerly was vice provost for International & Multicultural Education at Babson College. His leadership efforts in internationalization of Babson College were recognized through the prestigious Senator Paul Simon Comprehensive Internationalization Award, and Forbes ranking Babson as the best school for international students in the U.S. He has held numerous positions in academic affairs, student affairs, and international education during the past 21 years at Babson.
Cristina Alfaro, Ph.D.
Associate Vice President of International Affairs at San Diego State University
Cristina Alfaro, Ph.D. is the Associate Vice-President for International Affairs at San Diego State University. She earned an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and is a graduate of the Claremont/SDSU Joint Doctoral Program, where she earned her Ph.D. in International Bilingual Teacher Preparation. Prior to her current role, she served as SDSU’s inaugural Provost Chair for Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and as Chair of the Department of Dual Language and English Learner Education, in the College of Education, where she championed and led the model and largest bilingual teacher education program in the state of California.
Dr. Alfaro is the co-founder of the Formadores de Docentes Binacionales, a project that addresses the needs of the Students We Share between the Mexico/U.S. border and builds on their inherent assets. As a teacher-educator and educational leader, Dr. Alfaro led the California State University (CSU) International Teacher Education Program for over a decade. In this program, she collaborated with ten CSU universities with the goal of preparing globally and linguistically conscious bilingual teachers.
Michael A. Campbell
General Manager, Education Division, Intel
Michael A. Campbell is a Global Transformational Leader with 20+ years of focused experience in product marketing, strategy, business development, and sales. Currently Campbell is the General Manager of the Education Division within Intel’s Client Computing Group. With a focus on education, this team is responsible for influencing Intel’s product and platform strategy; working with OEM partners to optimize product portfolios; defining the best learning outcome experiences on Intel-based devices; and influencing the company’s go to market strategy in partnership with marketing and sales teams. Michael holds a BA in Political Science & International Relations from Carleton College and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Chris Parrish
Co-Founder & President of Partnerships, Podium EducationÂ
Christopher Parrish is Co-Founder and President of Partnerships at the leading experiential learning company, Podium Education. At Podium, Chris led the launch of The Global Career Accelerator, an industry redefining digital platform that enables students to gain credit, skills and experience by working on projects directly with industry. Podium currently partners with 70+ universities including Harvard, Georgetown and UT Austin and 50+ companies including Lyft, Intel and Stripe. His work has been featured in Fortune, Forbes and InsideHigherEd. He is a proud native of the Poconos and is passionate about unlocking opportunities for rural communities. Chris and Podium are based in Austin, TX.
