Chris Parrish
Co-Founder & President of Partnerships, Podium EducationÂ
Christopher Parrish is Co-Founder and President of Partnerships at the leading experiential learning company, Podium Education. At Podium, Chris led the launch of The Global Career Accelerator, an industry redefining digital platform that enables students to gain credit, skills and experience by working on projects directly with industry. Podium currently partners with 70+ universities including Harvard, Georgetown and UT Austin and 50+ companies including Lyft, Intel and Stripe. His work has been featured in Fortune, Forbes and InsideHigherEd. He is a proud native of the Poconos and is passionate about unlocking opportunities for rural communities. Chris and Podium are based in Austin, TX.
Sonia Feigenbaum
Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Chief International Officer (CIO), The University of Texas at Austin
​​Sonia is the Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Chief International Officer (CIO) at The University of Texas at Austin. Under her leadership, Texas Global underwent a strategic rebrand to reflect a bold vision for global engagement. She spearheaded the creation of new units, including Global Engagement and Strategy, Global Initiatives and Alumni Relations, and Global Programs and Innovation, to foster growth and broaden the university’s global impact.
Previously, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor for International Engagement at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she led institutional internationalization efforts, enhanced globally focused academic programs, and elevated institutional global visibility. Sonia also held roles at Brown University, the U.S. Department of Education, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, bringing nearly 15 years of federal policymaking experience relevant to global initiatives. She holds undergraduate and advanced degrees in music performance and Spanish from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Tariq Meyers
Chief Careers Officer (CCO), Podium Education
Tariq is the Chief Careers Officer (CCO) at Podium Education, where he works to close the college-to-career gap and make career discovery accessible to all students. A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Tariq has studied abroad in China, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Ghana. He retraced the historic Freedom Riders' journey as a Student Freedom Rider with PBS in 2011 and later served as Lyft’s first Head of Inclusion and Diversity, earning recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30 for Consumer Technology. Tariq went on to lead belonging initiatives at Coinbase and co-founded Untapped, the all-in-one early career talent platform that connects students with top companies. In 2018, he was named one of The Root 100 Most Influential African Americans.
